Best Start Breastfeeding

Are you ready to start your breastfeeding journey feeling calm and confident from day one?

Let me guide you on confidently navigating breastfeeding in the early days without feeling overwhelmed or lost in conflicting advice

YES, I'M IN!

There's just some hiccups...

Does this sound familiar?

  • You’re pregnant and know you want to breastfeed, but feel completely unprepared
  • You’ve heard a million different pieces of advice—from social media, well-meaning friends, and hospital staff—and don’t know what (or who) to believe
  • You know that breastfeeding is important, but you’re overwhelmed and unsure where to start
  • You’ve read the books, taken the classes, but still feel like something’s missing
  • You’re scared of cracked nipples, low supply, and struggling to latch—and feel like you’ll be completely alone once baby arrives

How does this sound?

Can you imagine what life would look like if you could...

  • Feel confident knowing what’s normal and what’s not in those precious first days and weeks?
  • Protect your nipples and milk supply, even if your baby is born early or needs extra support to latch?
  • Avoid the overwhelm of conflicting advice by understanding exactly what your baby and body need to establish breastfeeding?
  • Know when and how to get help—and who to trust?
I NEED THIS

Here's the truth

Breastfeeding doesn't have to be difficult for you.

"If I have a second baby, she will be the first person I call."

Eve really is the best at what she does. After a very stressful start to breastfeeding and leaving the hospital triple feeding my newborn, Eve was so knowledgeable and supportive in hearing my concerns and helping me find different solutions to improve my feeding journey. She is so calm and reassuring, and she made me feel taken care of every step of the way. She explains concepts so simply, and by the end of our time together, I felt so empowered knowing the signs of a good breastfeeding latch and session with my daughter. If I have a second baby, she will be the first person I call.

Alicia's kind words

"I could not speak more highly of Eve's professionalism, knowledge, and experience, but most of all her genuine care and concern. To her, you're more than just a client—a fellow mother and woman whom she so sincerely wants to help experience positive feeding and bonding with your baby, however that might be. Eve is nurturing, encouraging, empathetic, patient, and a great listener."

Meet your teacher

Hi, I'm Eve.

I am a Midwife and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in private practice in Perth.

I’ve worked as a midwife in Edinburgh, London, Sydney, Mount Isa and now Perth—and no matter where I was, one thing remained the same: new mums were not getting the support they needed to breastfeed confidently.

After having my own preterm baby and facing every breastfeeding challenge in the book—cracked nipples, low supply, weight worries, and a tidal wave of conflicting advice—I knew something had to change.

So I created Prep for Breastfeeding to be the course I wish I had: honest, practical, and grounded in real-life experience.

Fun facts about me:

  • I’m from a ski resort in the Scottish Highlands
  • I have two teenage boys (send help 😅)
  • I backpacked Oz and worked as a Jillaroo!
  • I love the outdoors, bushwalks, camping and books by the fire
  • My black lab is named Haggis 🐾

Frequently Asked Questions

Client love

"I can't thank Eve enough for her help with all the difficulties I had breastfeeding following both my pregnancies. I tell everyone about her and how great she is! I'll be booking in for a refresher if we decide to go for Bub number three. It is surprising how much I forgot about the early days of breastfeeding, and I never anticipated how different one baby's feeding patterns and latch would differ from the next. Eve helped me build my supply up to meet the growing needs of my baby and was a constant source of support when I needed it most.

Whether it's your first baby or your fifth, all women who intend to breastfeed should visit Eve to make their breastfeeding journey a pleasant one."
